Press and hold down on the D-pad for 3 seconds to turn on rapid fire. The 4th player LED will indicate rapid fire is on. Press sync to go to mode 2 (indicated by LED flashing twice), then again for 3 (indicated by LED flashing three times), then again for 4 (indicated by LED flashing four times), and again to go back to 1 (indicated by LED flashing once). Press and hold down on the d-pad for 3 more seconds to turn off. No new buttons, special POWERSAVE function- chip automatically turns on/off to reduce battery drain, NO VISIBLE CHANGE TO THE CONTROLLER, the controller still functions as it was meant (i.e. still rumbles, still can shoot normally). The controller still works if the user is 4th player (the LED will just show up a little brighter with rapid fire on). Has the new COD5 PATCH

Pretty god controller. I ordered it on monday and got it on friday. The only thing that I thought was bad about this item was that it wasn't as fast as other controllers. You could probablly try getting another controller for the same price but faster. This is a pretty decent controller.
